The exciting new HT Series 2.0 will replace the 1.0 range from April 2008. This new range of portables has been comprehensively remodelled, upgraded and expanded in line with our customer feedback. Additionally, we have further studied every facet of this product to give you louder receive audio, a high quality scrolling graphic back-lit LCD, advanced signalling (now compatible with Motorola, Kenwood, Icom and other caller ID formats), robust multi-pin accessory connector, longer battery duty cycle, increased mechanical strength and an up-rated IP68 fully submersible construction, while at the same time keeping full compatibility with the existing HT Series 1.0 battery packs and chargers. In all, this new generation of portables is mechanically far superior and considerably more intelligent and versatile than its predecessor.

Ranging from the basic 16 channel non LCD model, through to the 255 channel advanced signalling full keypad and fully featured MPT1327 trunked variants, all models will be available in frequency bands: 30-50MHz, 66-88MHz, 136-174MHz, 400-470MHz & 450-520MHz, in addition to other specific worldwide frequency bands.

Some very innovative features are common to the entire HT series 2.0, such as whisper mode, local personal attack alarm, and battery count, which when the portable is switched on allows you to view the number of charge cycles completed by your battery pack. It will even warn you of imminent battery life expiration. Furthermore, a range of advanced option boards give you functions such as GPS outdoor location with “navigate to” function, in-building location, Bluetooth communications, man-down, and voice annunciation. We have even future proofed your investment by allowing all models to be flash upgradeable!
