Entel’s DN495 wide area solution makes TCS London Marathon a walk in the park

For the 2023 TCS London Marathon, CSM Live required reliable, interference-free and instantaneous radio communications. This renowned event in one of the world’s major cities attracts huge numbers of visitors and vendors. Traditional radio communication channels become extremely heavily used. The additional channel traffic makes reliable communications incredibly difficult and expensive to achieve using traditional two-way radios.
Entel dealer DTS has extensive experience with Entel’s DN495 PoC radios and knew they would be the best solution for the London Marathon. To meet CSM Live’s requirements on the day, DTS topped up its already extensive DN495 hire fleet by cross-hiring additional handsets from Entel. The DN495 radio provides coverage across Europe as standard, so communicating across London was straightforward by comparison.
