Jet Bike Centre opts for HT720
Situated in the 600 acre grounds of Kingsbury Water Park, the Jet Bike Centre is based at one of the biggest lakes in the UK dedicated to personal watercraft. Six of the personnel at the centre, including jet ski patrol men involved in the Royal Yachting Association’s training sessions, took delivery of their new Entel HT720 radios, after approaching Servicom, an Entel dealership. They needed radios that could meet the rigorous demands of their water-borne activities with durability, reliability and submersibility high on their list of requirements.
The Entel HT720 with its unparalleled IP68 submersibility rating (5 meters depth for 60 minutes) and its Military Standard 810C/D/E construction, made it the obvious choice for this aquatic leisure environment. When used by the jet ski patrol men, the HT720 radio is housed securely in a vest pocket and used with an integrated speaker/microphone helmet system. Phil, of the Jet Bike Centre stated: “We needed a radio that we could rely on to perform in a demanding environment and withstand tough environmental conditions”.
The radios were supplied by Servicom Ltd, a Redditch based radio communications supplier who identified that the centre’s communication needs could be met by a back to back solution using the submersible VHF HT720s. Servicom, specialising in high end system solutions, supplies and maintains all forms of wireless equipment including two way radio, conventional and trunked onsite systems, as well as offering radio hire, wide area paging and wireless communication solutions. The Servicom Sales Team told Entel: “The Entel HT720 Radios enabled us to meet all our customer’s operational needs in a cost effective manner”.
