Las Piñas City – Police Force
Las Pinas City police force has selected Entel’s HX422 handsets to be used by their local police. The city of Las Pinas, a city in the National Capital Region of the Philippines, is an important commercial and industrial area and has become a major sea salt producing municipality.
The HX422 VHF high frequency handset boasts a superior build quality with an ergonomic design and exceptionally loud, clear audio that enables the user to communicate in the noisiest environments.
The city government, who oversaw the purchasing process, worked with a local dealer, Northwind Communication and Electronics, to conduct a series of rigorous trials with several different models including the Entel HT422 and HT426. Having previously used a competitor handset, the government officials remarked on the longer battery life – an essential element for their forces when on shift. The officials further commented on the durable, rugged quality of the Entel handsets and the ergonomic design, compared to the competitor models.
Las Pinas City police force have been so impressed with how the handsets have performed in the field that they plan to procure additional handsets and roll out the new and improved communications to the rest of the force.
