Oil giant opts for Entel HT900 Series 2.0 ATEX
ENI Italy, one of Europe's largest energy companies, has invested in Entel's Series 2.0 HT900 ATEX radios. One of Italy's largest and most successful companies, ENI is involved in the exploration, production, transportation and marketing of oil and natural gas worldwide. The company is active in 70 countries and employs around 79,000 people.
The Entel HT900 ATEX radios were chosen in preference to competitor brands because of their proven track record in land-based and off-shore oil exploration, having been used widely in the Gulf and North Sea oilfields and increasingly in the Gulf of Mexico and South America.
Entel's commitment to providing safe and cost-effective two-way radio communications into the most challenging of environments, together with its responsible approach to environmental concerns, chimed with ENI's commitment to ensuring worker safety and mitigating the environmental impact of its global activities.
Both companies share a commitment to utilising leading edge technology, with Entel providing a flexible and feature-rich portfolio of ATEX hand portables, T4 rated and able to cover all 3 Ex gas groups, powered by the latest Lithium-Ion battery technology. So, wherever ENI's activities may take them, in desert, off-shore, in extreme heat or cold, they know that their Entel HT900 radios will provide years of reliable service in the harshest environments.
