Port of Douala, Cameroon switches to Entel’s HT725, IP68 Submersible Radios

Previously using Motorola, the Port of Douala chose to switch to Entel’s HT725 IP68 Submersible radios.

Due to their superior water ingress protection Entel’s authorised dealer, ERTC Cameroon, had no hesitation in recommending Entel HT725 radios to the port. The radios Submersibility rating & rugged design did indeed prove to be the main two factors the Port elected to switch to Entel.
Amongst others, The Port Authority of Douala is responsible for the general coordination of port activities, facilitation of access to ships and vessels, extension, installation and maintenance works as well as Safety and security of port operations.
