SEAOIL Philippines
Entel has been selected to supply SEAOIL Philippines with its prestigious HT844 radio handsets. Established in 1997 with one oil station, SEAOIL Philippines now has over 350 stations, making it the largest independent fuel company in the country. The award winning organisation strives to be innovative, customer-focused and globally competitive with high standards, not least in their communications networks.
With a wealth of features as standard, the HT844 VHF marine handsets are intrinsically safe (IECEx approval), submersible (uniquely conforming to IP68 standards) and ATEX approved to meet IIA standards.
SEAOIL had previously been using a competitor product, but having initiated talks and trials with their local dealer, Jason Electronics, they selected to make the change to Entel HT844 handsets. The customer particularly liked the lightweight feel of the handset despite the rugged, robust construction and were impressed with the IP68 submersibility rating, both of which are essential features needed in the SEAOIL communications network.
