Seoul Grand Park selects Entel’s DX485 radio
Seoul Grand Park has been a popular Korean theme park since opening in 1984. Alongside the park itself, the forests, camping sites and zoo provide much-loved spaces for fun and relaxation.
With a total site area of approximately 9.13 m2 – the park alone covers 2.42 m2 – the venue relies on a robust communication system to keep staff and visitors safe. After extensive testing and comparison with competitors, Seoul Grand Park chose Entel’s DX485 UHF portable radio through Win Telecom, an official Korean dealer.
While the park’s management is impressed with the radio’s IP68 submersibility rating, crystal clear audio quality, loud volume and the comfortable-to-wear earpiece microphone, the staff particularly appreciate the heavy-duty leather case for protecting the radios while they are working inside the animal cages.
Each department has its own custom switch-on logo programmed in to their radios ensuring each departments radios can easily be identified. In addition, AES256 encryption ensures all of the Park’s transmissions are totally secure and private.
A spokesperson for Seoul Grand Park said: “Entel’s DX485 performance is exceeding our expectations and has resolved all our communication concerns. We are confident that our staff can now focus safely on ensuring our visitors enjoy the facilities and make memories to treasure at Seoul Grand Park”.
Paul Jung, Entel Korea sales manager said: “Entel Korea are proud to have worked closely with and be selected by Seoul Grand Park to meet their exact requirements. In addition to the required features the DX485 radio system was designed to ensure coverage of a very challenging site.”
