The New Caledonian Fire Brigade select the Entel HT700 series
The latest Fire and Rescue service to have selected Entel as their brand of choice for radio communications, is the New Caledonian Fire Brigade (Pompiers Nouvelle Calédonie). They join Mexico’s Fire and Civil Protection Department, Italy’s National Fire Corps and Austria’s National Cave Rescue Organisation, in choosing the HT700 series for its superior build quality and its unique IP68 rating.
When working with our dealer Nikom, the New Caledonian Fire Brigade specified that they not only required entry level models, but also that advanced signalling variants were essential. With nearly 4,000 incidents a year, and an average of 11 call outs per day, the brigade required a radio that was robust and reliable. Upon recommendation of Nikom, the brigade opted for the HT713. They were particularly impressed by its tough build quality, and felt that the high visibility backlit-display was an essential feature.
