Letter from 1st Felpham Sea Scouts, West Sussex, 15th May 2006:

“Last Wednesday we went sailing and one of the kids dropped our HT640 radio overboard into approximately two meters of water. Visibility was very poor, and retrieval wasn’t an option. This was heart-breaking as the group has to do a lot of fund raising to buy kit like this. After the tide went out some three hours later, I went down to the water’s edge and couldn’t believe my eyes when I found it, half a mile along the beach, still working and still looking brand new! So just wanted to say thanks for a great bit of kit!”
