The Panama Canal Authority (ACP) has selected Entel as their preferred brand procuring via local based dealer, Radio Holland.
The Panama Canal, which serves more than 144 maritime routes connecting 160 countries, is approximately 80 kilometers long and links the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. It is a complex operation which services some 13 to 14 thousand vessels every year from all parts of the world. The Canal has a work force of approximately 10 thousand employees and operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing transit service to a huge variety of vessel types.
The ACP is responsible for the management of the Panama Canal in its entirety, with the objective of not only ensuring that the Canal operates in a safe, efficient and profitable manner but also positioning the canal as a vehicle to sustainably and responsibly grow the Republic of Panama’s presence in the global economy.
When working with Radio Holland, the ACP were able to compare reliability, durability, product features and cost and found that the Entel model met all of the its requirements as well as being the best value product compared to competitor brands.
