With established deployment of Entel radios on board Meko frigate, NRP Alvares Cabral, the Portuguese Navy is now expanding the use of Entel products across their fleet. The latest batch of radios is to be used on Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs) where their onboard Damage Control teams require ATEX portable radios and helmet worn accessories in their day-to-day missions.

Entel Dealer Engitronica reported that the client, already impressed by the reliability and durability of Entel radios also finds the bone conductive skull microphone indispensable for the clear communication they need in high ambient noise operational environments.
