The DX644/ATIS delivers exceptional audio volume and clarity and the intuitive controls, designed for gloved hands, complement the high-contrast OLED display, which is easy to read in low-light conditions.
These compact, ultra-durable portables provide a far more natural sounding, 3 watts of digital audio, clearer and louder than radios twice their size. For further peace of mind, this model has a market-leading IP68 submersible rating of 2 metres for 4 hours to cope with the harsh conditions of life at sea.

Channels – The DX644/ATIS is pre-programmed with all International, USA and Canadian channels, you can also program an additional 16 private channels.
Environmental protection – IP68 (2 Meters for 4 hours) Entel’s radios are approved to IP68 (2 Meters for 4 hours) rated construction, which means that they are dust protected and fully Submersible (even with the accessory cover removed).
ATIS ready – ATIS, stands for Automatic Transmitter Identification System. The ATIS system is used and mandated on inland waterways in various countries in mainland Europe. At the end of every transmission the radio sends out a unique FFSK data signal, this signal contains the user or ship’s unique ATIS call sign which identifies you to marine coast stations and inland stations

Gold plated accessory connector – The radios multi-pin interface and Micro-USB socket are both submersible and gold-plated to minimise any risk of damage and protect against corrosion.
Locking accessory connector – All Entel accessories incorporate a robust locking connector and the radios accessory socket has been specifically designed so that when an accessory is secured to the portable, the connection can withstand any amount of punishment; from dropping to careless misuse.
Accessory audio tailoring – Entel’s radios identify the attached accessory and automatically adjust its settings ensuring the most natural and readable audio possible is delivered even with bone conductive accessories and breathing apparatus com kits.
High contrast white on black OLED display – Entel’s radios benefit from a high contrast white on black OLED display that delivers superior readability in varying light conditions adding to the radios intuitive user interface.
End user programmer – Entel adds and improves features on its DX radios by way of free software updates. Using Entel’s innovative End User Programmer app Entel DX radios can be easily upgraded without the Dealer having to visit site or courier the radios back and forth saving significant time and expense.
Memory scan – enables the radios user to create / change their own channel scan list.
Programmable switch on logo – As a personal touch it is possible to upload your customers own logo to Entel display radios so it is displayed when the radio is booting up.
