The New Caledonian Fire Brigade select the Entel HT700 series
The latest Fire and Rescue service to have selected Entel as their brand of choice for radio communications, is the New Caledonian Fire Brigade (Pompiers Nouvelle Calédonie). The Fire and Civil Protection Department in Mexico's premier tourist destination, Cancun, has embraced Entel's submersible HT700 series radios as the ideal solution to coordinating beach safety and off-shore rescue. The resort sees more than 3 million visitors each year, meaning that reliable communications lie at the heart of keeping tourists safe. Unfortunately, the department's old splash-proof IP55 rated radios were simply not up to the job, getting damaged and corroded during operations at sea.

Italy's National Fire Corps adopts bespoke Entel radios
The Italian Fire Brigades' governing body, the National Fire Corps, has taken delivery of its first firmware-customised, advanced signalling Entel HT715 and HT785 radios, after a rigorous selection and development process. The Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco (CNVVF) had complex scanning and selcall requirements, together with specific functionality they wanted assigned to programmable keys. It operates its own radio network and has 35,000 operational units across the whole of Italy.

Austrian Fire Brigades Choose Entel HT715 (66–88 MHz)
Entel’s authorised dealer in Austria, Sigl Funk, has won a contract to supply three of the country’s Fire & Rescue Services with Entel HT715 radios. They will standardise on Entel portables after a rigorous selection process was completed earlier this year. Taiwan Capital Chooses Entel for Fire Department
Following a comprehensive reorganisation, the Taipei City Fire Department in Taiwan has taken the decision to standardise on Entel portables for its radio communications, after a year of negotiations. Via a dealer based in Taiwan, the city’s 12 Fire Battalions have collectively taken delivery of over 1000 radios already – just four months into the 2 year contract that will see regular scheduled deliveries from Entel's Asia distribution hub.

New Zealand Fire-fighters choose HT Series
Fire–fighters in New Zealand have given Entel a big vote of confidence after taking delivery of brand new HT780 radios for their fleet of fire engines. Thanks to a local fund-raising drive in the The Puke region of the Bay of Plenty, fire–fighters in this part of New Zealand’s north island have been able to furnish all of the tenders with brand new Entel submersible radios.
