Job Description

Sales Director – Elstree, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

Established for over twenty-two years, Entel is an independent UK based Corporate International Group which has firmly established itself as a prominent leading global player in the radio communications industry. Entel operates its own design and manufacturing divisions, with distribution centres throughout the world.

Due to expansion we are actively seeking an experienced Sales Director to join ous. We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Sales Director to join us, in what will be a fast paced, growth focused leadership role. .

Responsibilities:

  • Researching the market and targeting new clients on an international basis to cultivate and support business growth.
  • Understand competitor research to support the business strategy for product pricing, providing value to the business competitiveness.
  • Design, implement and manage the international sales strategy; providing regular updates on the MD on progression.
  • Collaborating with internal departments; R&D, manufacturing, operations and distribution; to ensure Entel continues to maximise customer success and satisfaction.
  • Leading by example to successfully securing new customers and maintaining relationships with existing customers, in addition to providing support across the business development team if required.
  • Monthly reporting on sales performance against budget and reporting on variances.
  • Leading training for the sale teams to enhance sales techniques and participate in international trade shows and events to gather industry news, information and build your network within the market.

Experience, skills and attributes:

  • The ability to demonstrate a track record in a senior role. Ideally within either engineering; electronics; manufacturing or the logistics industry.
  • Strong professional verbal and written communication skills; supporting a systematic and structured approach to sales development.
  • Excellent networker who is able to build strong partnerships with existing and new clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously at various stages of the business development process.
  • Demonstrate a unique combination of excellent attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture for a long term strategic approach.
  • Experience in setting, managing and tracking business sales targets and individual sales targets within the team.
  • Previous team management experience with the ability to develop and progress personnel to excel within their roles.
  • Confident in undertaking performance and KPI management across a business development team
